Welcome to our Log Home tour. The home is completed but we have pictures that we took during the construction of the home. |

We purchased our custom log home kit from Real Log Homes. We designed our home with the help of our Real Log Home representatives, Judi & Hal Gilje. We looked at floor plans from many log home companies and modified one from Real Log Homes that we liked the best to come up with our own design. Our design is now available as one of the standard floor plans from Real Log Homes. |

On the first floor, our house has an entry way, an office, 1 1/2 baths, master bedroom, great room, dining room and kitchen. Up on the 2nd floor is a cool loft area overlooking the great room, 2 bedrooms and a bath. |

We chose 10 inch swedish cope logs for our home. We like the style and size of these logs. |

Unfortunately, we don't have the names of all of the people that worked on helping to make our log home dream a reality. Hal & Judi helped us to come up with the final design of the home and referred us to our General Contractor: Richard Bancroft (Dick).
