Herding

Herding is another activity to enjoy with your Beardies.  Joanne Williamson and Judy Panzini train and compete with their Beardies in Herding Trials.  Other club member's Beardies have passed their BCCA Herding Instinct tests. 

In 1996, we planned an Herding Fun Day at the Animal Inn in Smyrna, Delaware.  We enjoyed a fun day of herding and instinct testing.

Herding Demonstration/Picnic

A huge Thank-you to Karen & Kurt Bowen for the use of their home (and goats) for our October meeting, picnic and herding demonstration.  A really big Thank-you to Sandy Weiss and her Beardie, Bond, for the wonderful herding demonstration.  We took a few pictures of the demonstration.  It was truly awesome to watch how Bond controlled the goats and how in instinctively knew where to place himself to keep the goats in line.
